Timothy R. Osborne is a co-founder of PalmTree, Inc. While wearing many hats through the start-up phase of the company, Osborne's primary responsibilities lie in the high-level strategic management of the company's Lean Implementation services and engagements. |

Osborne is also an architect of PalmTree's suite of Lean Software Solutions. He has played an integral part in the development of the company's innovative internet-based software solutions, assisting in the creation, implementation and continuous improvement of products including the company's flagship internet-based Kanban implementation, utilizing "virtual" cards to transmit information throughout the supply chain. |

Formerly, Osborne was Vice President of Lean Enterprise for Invensys. He was responsible for Lean Implementation at over 30 sites across the globe for six business units of the $1 Billion diversified industrial manufacturer. Osborne pioneered numerous initiatives across the highly differentiated Invensys holdings, bringing tremendous efficiencies to both manufacturing and administrative functions, including a financial Kaizen to establish a companywide standard for month-end closings. |

Osborne was recruited to Invensys from New United Motors Manufacturing Inc. ("NUMMI"), a joint venture between Toyota and General Motors. In 14 years at NUMMI Osborne progressed from engineering positions to ultimately manage the manufacturing operation. This extensive experience has given Osborne hands-on experience in every area of the Toyota Production System, which is the foundation for today's Lean Enterprise practices. |

Osborne earned his Bachelor's in Industrial Technology from Northern Colorado State University, and his Master's in Industrial Technology from Colorado State University, graduating with high honors. He is a veteran of the United States Army, and currently resides in San Jose, California. |
